greetings, You can call me elijah elpenor. i am a deracinated descendant of the chichimeca people with an inordinate interest in creative expression. Usually, this takes the form of musical and written works.

my primary interest is language. i do my best to wrestle with it in the form of poems, songs, and prose. i'm trying to find satisfying ways to share that work on the internet, but i'm currently in the early stages of my attempts. No satisfying results yet. (Suggestions welcome.) As a result, my writing is currently the least publicly available thing i do.

my music is more readily available on all of the standard platforms. i am one half of an experimental hip hop duo called EXE. There, my experimentation with language and vocalization is on full display.

i've made an account on this service in the hopes that i can one day sustain myself with my art without having to depend too much on traditional capitalist labor markets.

in my creation, i strive to learn, play, reveal, and emote. i feel a drive to resist the hostile power structures which loom over our daily lives, and my art is an integral part of that. i believe this drive comes from an ancestral tradition of resistance, and i am doing my best to honor that tradition each time i commune with my creative spirit.

All of this may seem vague, so i encourage you to engage with my work and see if you dig what i'm layin down. It says plenty. Perhaps too much.
